Mount Batur Sunrise Trekking is a hiking experience that will stay with you for a lifetime. Mount Batur is an active volcano standing majestically on the rim of a caldera with a blue volcanic lake below — and its summit offers one of the most dramatic sunrise panoramas in all of Southeast Asia.

The trek begins before dawn from the starting point in Kintamani. Together with a certified professional trekking guide from Abdhie Adventure, you will ascend a well-tested safe trail for 2–3 hours until reaching the summit just as the sky begins to turn red. At the top, you will be greeted with a traditional breakfast — hot tea or coffee and light refreshments — while enjoying the panorama of the Batur Caldera, Lake Batur, and the magnificent silhouette of Mount Agung in the distance.

Journey Highlights

1. Pre-dawn Ascent — The magical atmosphere of hiking through darkness that gradually transforms into orange and red hues as the sun rises.
2. Summit Panorama — A 360-degree view encompassing the Batur Caldera, Lake Batur, Mount Agung, and a sea of clouds below you.
3. Breakfast at the Summit — A unique Abdhie Adventure tradition: breakfast with hot tea or coffee above the clouds.
4. Hot Spring (Optional) — After descending, you can relax at the natural Batur hot springs (separate ticket).

All basic trekking equipment, breakfast at the summit, mineral water, and insurance are included. Hotel transfer is available as an optional add-on.
